AIIMS Jodhpur Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur) is recruiting Senior Residents under the Government of India Residency Scheme at its Rajasthan campus. This is the Non DM/MCh. recruitment cycle, covering clinical, dental, laboratory and other hospital departments. You would join through a fixed-term residency appointment, with continuation governed by the institute's rules.

• Anaesthesiology and Critical Care: The residency is attached to the named specialist department at AIIMS Jodhpur.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: Your initial appointment lasts 1 year and may be extended up to 3 years based on performance and conduct. It does not give you a right to permanent absorption or continued appointment.
• Full-time service: Private practice of any kind is prohibited. You must work in shifts and may be posted anywhere within the institute.
• Leaving the post: You can leave by giving 1 month's notice or 1 month's salary in its place. The institute may end the appointment at any time.
• Leave and conduct: Leave follows the Central Residency Scheme and institute policy. The institute's discipline and conduct rules apply during your appointment.
• Reservation: Government of India reservation rules apply. Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities is horizontal within the respective categories.
• EWS seats: Unfilled Economically Weaker Sections seats are not carried forward as backlog. Other-category applicants may be considered provisionally as unreserved applicants only if an EWS seat remains unfilled.
• Recruitment changes: The advertised openings are provisional. AIIMS may change them, withdraw all or part of the recruitment, or reject applications without issuing a separate notice.
• Joining and declarations: AIIMS will not pay travel or other joining allowances. Canvassing disqualifies you, and false declarations or deliberately hidden information can lead to removal from service.
