UPSSSC has issued an official corrigendum dated 17 June 2026 for Advertisement No. 07-Exam/2026, Combined Lower Subordinate Services (Graduate Level) Main Examination (PET-2025)/08. The online application, fee deposit and final submission deadline is now 25 June 2026. The fee adjustment and application correction deadline is now 02 July 2026. Total vacancies are now 2587 posts.

UPSSSC Combined Lower Subordinate Services Recruitment 2026 - 2587 Posts

The original advertisement was published on 30 March 2026 for 2285 posts. A notice dated 29 May 2026 added 221 posts, taking the revised total to 2516 posts. The 17 June 2026 corrigendum adds another 24 Kar Adhikari posts under the Panchayati Raj Department, so selection will now be processed for 2587 vacancies.

• Assistant Manager (Non-Technical), Directorate of Industries and Enterprise Promotion, Kanpur: revised to 181 posts. Category split: UR 74, SC 39, ST 03, OBC 47, EWS 18. Horizontal reservation shown in the corrigendum includes Ex-Servicemen 03, Low Vision 03, Hard of Hearing 02, OA/OL/LC/Dw/AAV 02, dependents of freedom fighters 09, women 36, and outstanding sportspersons 03.
• Kar Adhikari, Panchayati Raj Department: 24 new posts added. Category split: UR 12, SC 05, ST 00, OBC 05, EWS 02. Horizontal reservation shown in the corrigendum includes dependents of freedom fighters 01 and women 04; other listed disability/sportsperson horizontal categories are 00.

Who Can Apply for Kar Adhikari?

• Qualification: You need a degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the State Government, as stated for Kar Adhikari under the Uttar Pradesh District Panchayat (Central Transferable Cadre) Rules, 1966, as amended.
• Age: For direct recruitment to Kar Adhikari, you should have completed 21 years and should not be above 40 years on 1 July of the calendar year in which the vacancies are advertised.
• Age relaxation: The corrigendum mentions relaxation for dependents of freedom fighters and SC candidates as per the applicable rule text.

Salary for Added Kar Adhikari Posts

• Kar Adhikari: Level-6, pay band Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay Rs. 4200, as shown in the corrigendum.

Application Instructions After Corrigendum

1. If you have not applied yet, complete the online application, fee deposit and final submission by 25 June 2026.
2. If you already submitted the original application and want to choose the newly added posts, you do not need to apply again or pay the fee again.
3. Use the correction process to update your options and preferences for the newly added posts before 02 July 2026.
4. If you do not choose the new posts within the correction period, UPSSSC will consider you only for the posts you had already selected, and later claims for the newly added posts will not be accepted.
