Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need at least an Intermediate (12th) pass or equivalent from a recognized board. Your final merit is prepared based on your highest educational qualification — the more you have studied, the stronger your merit position.
• Gender: Only women candidates can apply for the Anganwadi Karyakartri post.
• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident of the ward or gram sabha where the vacant post is located. If no eligible woman candidate from a preference category is available in that gram sabha or ward, residents of the neighbouring Nyaya Panchayat become eligible to apply.
• Marks obtained in grading or CGPA systems will be converted to a percentage using the formula approved by your board or university.
• If any fact, data, or educational mark in your application is later found to be incorrect or forged, your candidature will be cancelled and you alone will be responsible — no correction request will be entertained through any offline route.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 35 years old as on 1 July 2026.
• The date of birth recorded in your High School marksheet and certificate will be treated as final for age calculation — no other document will be accepted for age proof.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test for this recruitment. Selection follows a fixed preference order among eligible women candidates from the same ward or gram sabha:

1. Widow (BPL): Widowed candidates from Below Poverty Line families get first preference.
2. Divorced or Deserted (BPL): Legally divorced or deserted BPL candidates.
3. General (BPL): Other Below Poverty Line candidates.
4. Widow (APL): Widowed candidates from Above Poverty Line families.
5. Divorced or Deserted (APL): Legally divorced or deserted APL candidates.
6. General (APL): Other Above Poverty Line candidates.

Within each preference category, candidates are ranked by their highest educational qualification. Widowhood must be supported by a death certificate from the Gram Panchayat Officer or municipal body, and divorce/desertion status must be supported by a legal order from the High Court. Your residence certificate, caste certificate and income certificate will be checked before final selection, and only certificates issued online with a digital signature from the Tehsil will be accepted for verification.
