The District Programme Officer (DPO), Hardoi, under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme of the Bal Vikas Seva Evam Pushtahar Department, Uttar Pradesh, has invited online applications for 4 Anganwadi Karyakarta (Worker) vacancies. Salary

• Selected Anganwadi Workers will receive a monthly honorarium of approximately Rs. 6,500 per month.
• This is a fixed honorarium paid jointly by the Central and State Governments under the ICDS scheme.
• Additional benefits may include a yearly festival bonus, uniform allowance, and maternity benefits under government schemes.

Note: Anganwadi positions carry a fixed honorarium, not a regular pay scale with DA/HRA allowances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam or interview for this recruitment. Selection will be done in the following stages:

2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents including residence proof, caste certificate, educational certificates, and income certificate.

• Conduct home visits to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children under six years in the assigned area
• Distribute supplementary nutrition and health supplements to beneficiaries at the Anganwadi centre
• Organise pre-school non-formal education activities for children aged 3-6 years
• Maintain registers and records of beneficiaries including growth monitoring charts for children
• Assist in immunisation drives and health check-up camps organised by the Health Department
• Spread awareness about nutrition, hygiene, sanitation, and family welfare in the community
• Coordinate with ANMs, ASHAs, and other health workers for referral services
