TNSCPS Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Tamil Nadu State Child Protection Society (TNSCPS) and associated child protection units are recruiting through the Directorate of Children Welfare and Special Services. The recruitment brings together programme, finance, data-entry and technical support roles at the Directorate in Egmore, Chennai. You would join on a contractual, purely temporary basis.
Posts and Disciplines
- TNSCPS programme work: The Program Officer supports child protection coordination and programme delivery across state and district activities.
- TNSCPS finance: Accounts Officer, Accountant and Account Assistant roles handle different parts of budgeting, accounting, payments and financial oversight.

Post-wise Duties
Program Officer
You will help the Program Manager coordinate child protection activities, including work involving children who need care and protection and children in conflict with law. The role also supports training, capacity building and awareness activities at state and district levels.
Accounts Officer
You will prepare budgets with programme teams and oversee Mission Vatsalya financial management. The work includes checking financial proposals, reviewing district expenditure reports, coordinating audits and reporting to senior accounts and programme officers.
Accountant
You will keep cash books, ledgers and bank records, prepare payment paperwork and support financial reporting. The role also covers bank reconciliation and files for procurement and payment transactions.
Assistant cum Data Entry Operator
You will maintain databases, backups, registers and digital files. You will also coordinate district reports, check incoming information for errors and keep child-related portals and office correspondence up to date.
Account Assistant
You will support the Accounts Officer through account registers, stock records and bill checks. The notice also assigns work involving procurement, the Public Finance Management System, SNA SPARSH and Tally.
Program Assistant
You will keep SARA reports and registers updated and collect information from District Child Protection Units and Specialized Adoption Agencies. Email review, e-office receipts, correspondence and stock records are also part of this role.
IT Supervisor
You will keep the Child Helpline technology functional and prepare reports from its data systems. Your work includes call-quality analysis, monitoring operator performance and helping build a directory of child protection resources.
