Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released a notification for the post of Database Administrator at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. TMC runs a network of cancer hospitals and research centres across India, and this role sits at the heart of TMH's IT infrastructure. This is an outsourced position managed through M/s. A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd., an approved manpower supply agency for TMH — you will work on-site at the hospital, but your employment will be with the agency rather than directly with TMC. Hands-on IBM DB2 database experience is the key requirement — this role focuses on keeping the hospital's critical database systems running smoothly, so candidates with real experience in DB2 administration and HA/DR (High Availability/Disaster Recovery) setups will stand out.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (any one): Graduate in Engineering (IT / Computer Science / Electronics) with minimum 55% marks from a government-recognized university, plus at least 1 year of relevant experience
• OR M.Sc. in IT/Computer Science or MCA, with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• OR BCA with minimum 55% marks from a government-recognized board/university, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Mandatory Certification: IBM Certified Database Administrator – DB2, or IBM i System Administrator certification
• Experience: You should have hands-on experience managing IBM DB2 databases — this includes day-to-day database administration, performance monitoring, and setting up HA/DR (High Availability/Disaster Recovery) solutions
• Additional knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, or other modern RDBMS platforms will count in your favour, alongside your core DB2 skills

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, decided based on your qualification and experience.
• Since this is an outsourced/contractual position through the manpower agency, the pay structure follows the agency's own terms rather than a standard government pay scale.

Selection Process

The selection process has 2 stages:
