TIFT Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tripura Institution for Transformation (TIFT), under the Government of Tripura’s Department of General Administration (Good Governance), is building its team for innovation programmes and sector policy work. These contractual engagements support the institution’s work on good governance under NITI Aayog guidance, with the team based in Agartala. The State Innovation Mission roles focus on supporting founders and programme delivery, while the sector experts work on development priorities.

Posts and Disciplines

• Senior Program Manager: leads programme delivery for the State Innovation Mission in Tripura.
• Senior Associate – Operations: supports the same mission through coordination and operational administration.
• Sector Expert – Technology & Entrepreneurship: focuses on technology, innovation and the startup ecosystem.
• Sector Expert – Industry & Trade: works on industrial development and trade priorities.
• Sector Expert – Economics & Finance: supports economic planning and public finance policy.

Post-wise Duties

Senior Program Manager

You will turn mission priorities into programme plans and measurable outcomes, coordinate incubation activities and connect founders with mentors and partners. You will also track progress and help develop partnerships for the mission.

Senior Associate – Operations

You will keep programme schedules, records and events organised, follow up with participants and coordinate logistics. The work also includes vendor coordination and supporting expenditure records under government procedures.

Sector Expert – Technology & Entrepreneurship

You will review technology and entrepreneurship initiatives, develop policy inputs and help departments prepare project proposals. Your work will support innovation, startup development and monitoring systems.

Sector Expert – Industry & Trade

You will assess industrial and trade policies and help shape sector development plans. The role includes supporting local industries, coordinating with development partners and documenting progress.

Sector Expert – Economics & Finance

You will examine economic strategies and fiscal systems, prepare policy analysis and support development proposals. Economic reviews and inputs for state planning are part of the work.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The initial engagement lasts 11 months. Renewal depends on satisfactory performance, continuing institutional need and approval from the competent authority.
• Appointment status: This engagement gives you no right to a regular appointment with TIFT or the Government of Tripura.
• Work arrangements: You will work under the CEO or an authorised officer. Field travel within or outside Tripura may be needed.
• Application conduct: Canvassing can lead to cancellation. If you apply more than once for the same post, only your last application will be evaluated.
