Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or an equivalent exam from a recognised board, university or institute.

Salary

• Selected candidates get a salary under Pay Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission (Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1,800).
• The in-hand salary is around Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 22,000 per month depending on the city of posting.
• You also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per central government rules.

Physical Standards (Havaldar Posts)

Candidates applying for Havaldar posts must clear a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST) after qualifying the written exam.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Walking and cycling tasks to test endurance and fitness (separate standards for male and female candidates).

Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Height, chest (for male candidates) and weight measurements as per the standards given in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection is done in these stages:

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST): For Havaldar posts only, conducted after the CBT.
3. Document Verification: Final check of eligibility and certificates.
