• Superintendent: You need a postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychiatry, Law, or Public Health, plus a Diploma in Computer Application.
• Experience for Superintendent: At least 3 years in a child or women related programme.
• Store Keeper-cum-Accountant: You need graduation in Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics with 2 years accounting experience.

Child Protection and Counselling Posts

• Case Worker / Probation Officer / Child Welfare Officer: Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, or Law, with 2 years experience in areas such as JJ Act, POCSO, child labour, human trafficking, drug abuse, legal assistance, or child marriage work.
• Counsellor: Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counselling, Guidance and Counselling, or a PG Diploma in Counselling and Communication, with 1 year school or institution experience.
• House Mother / House Father: Intermediate pass with 2 years experience working with children in an institution.

Health and Education Support Posts

• Paramedical Staff: Intermediate pass plus diploma in Para Medical, Nursing Assistance, Medical Record, Dressing, or ANM, with 1 year clinic, hospital, or institution experience.
• A.N.M. (Female) / Nurse: Intermediate pass plus ANM, nursing, or paramedical qualification, with 1 year clinic, hospital, or institution experience.
• Special Educator: Graduate or B.Ed in Special Education with 2 years school or institution experience.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years for House Mother/Father, Paramedical Staff, and Nurse; 21 years for the other listed posts.
• Age counted on: 1 January 2026.
• Upper age limit: UR/EWS male up to 37 years, UR/EWS female up to 40 years, BC/EBC up to 40 years, and SC/ST up to 42 years.
• Service condition: Existing staff working in the same post through District Child Protection Units do not need to apply for that same post.

Salary

• Officer-in-Charge (Superintendent): Rs. 35,400 per month plus DA.
• Store Keeper-cum-Accountant: Rs. 25,500 per month plus DA.
• Case Worker, Counsellor, House Mother/Father, and Special Educator: Rs. 18,000 per month plus DA.
• Paramedical Staff and Nurse: Pay will be as per the applicable Bihar Administrative Reform Mission Society norms mentioned in the notice.

Selection Process (No Written Exam Mentioned)
