Women and Child Development Department, Rewari — Anganwadi Karyakatri & Sahayika Recruitment 2026 - 455 Posts

The Women and Child Development Department, Rewari district (Haryana) has released a notice inviting applications to fill 455 vacant Anganwadi Karyakatri (Worker) and Anganwadi Sahayika (Helper) posts spread across six blocks — Khol, Jatusana, Rewari Gramin, Bawal, Nahad, and Rewari Shahri. These are temporary, honorarium-based community posts under the Anganwadi (Integrated Child Development Services / ICDS) scheme, which runs neighbourhood-level centres across India to support early childhood nutrition, pre-school education, and maternal health. Only local women residents of the specific Gram Panchayat or Ward where the vacancy exists are eligible — this keeps the selection hyper-local and ensures each Anganwadi centre is run by someone from the same community. This is a great opportunity for women from both rural and urban parts of Rewari who want to serve their own neighbourhood.
