These teachers will be engaged in Ashram Schools and Sevashrams across Puri district to teach Classes I to VIII wherever regular teacher posts are lying vacant. This is a purely temporary, academic-year-based engagement -- guest teachers get no claim to regular or contractual appointment. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need Plus-2 (Higher Secondary) in Arts, Science or Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, along with a CT or D.El.Ed training certificate.
• Class Level: The MCT category covers teaching Classes I to VIII (Primary and Upper Primary level) in Ashram Schools and Sevashrams.
• Selection Basis: You are selected purely on merit -- based on Academic Weightage (maximum 70 marks for your Plus-2 percentage) and Training Weightage (maximum 30 marks for your CT/D.El.Ed percentage). There is no written exam or interview.

Salary

• You will be paid Rs. 300 per class/period you teach, up to a maximum of Rs. 12,000 per month.
• You can take a maximum of 40 classes/periods of at least 45 minutes each in a month.
• This is an honorarium-based payment, not a regular salary -- guest teachers do not get DA, HRA, EPF, or leave benefits.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based purely on merit calculated from your academic records:

1. Academic Weightage (Maximum 70 marks): Based on your Plus-2 percentage.
2. Training Weightage (Maximum 30 marks): Based on your CT/D.El.Ed percentage.
3. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be checked before your candidature is confirmed.
4. Empanelment: Selected candidates are empanelled and issued a Letter of Offer by the District Welfare Officer.
