Who Can Apply?

For TGT (Computer Science) - Rs. 34,125/month:

• Qualification: BCA, or graduation in Computer Science/IT (both with at least 50% marks), or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 50% marks. The Computer Science subject must have been studied in every year of your graduation as a main subject.
• You must have also cleared the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), Paper-II, conducted by the Government of India.
• You also need a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks, or a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed, or a 4-year integrated degree that includes a B.Ed component.
• Desirable: Teaching experience in a similar role, prior experience in a residential school, knowledge of regional languages, and computer application skills.

For ATL Facilitator - Rs. 30,000/month:

• Qualification: M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics/Robotics/IT, or B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Robotics/IT/Computer Science/AI.
• Desirable: Knowledge of robotics, IoT equipment, 3D design and printing, data visualization and design, entrepreneurial thinking, and AI/STEM innovation.

For Matron (3 posts):

• Qualification: Class 10 pass. Only married women can apply, which includes widows or divorcees without dependents.
• Desirable: Experience in a residential school (especially for widows and divorcees), understanding of issues faced by young and teenage girls, knowledge of first-aid, and past experience in a similar role.

Age Limit

• TGT (Computer Science) and ATL Facilitator: Maximum age is 50 years.
• Matron: You should be between 35 and 55 years old.

Salary

• TGT (Computer Science): Rs. 34,125 per month.
• ATL Facilitator: Rs. 30,000 per month.
• Matron: Minimum wages applicable to MTS (Unskilled) staff, as per Government of India rules.
• TGT and ATL Facilitator posts also get free food and accommodation at the JNV Konark campus for the full contract period. The Matron post gets free boarding, lodging and medical facilities available in the school's MI room, alongside the resident students.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written test for any of these posts. Selection happens in 2 steps:

1. Document Verification: Bring your original certificates, mark sheets and experience letters to the interview venue for checking on the spot.
2. Walk-In Interview: A selection panel will assess your qualifications, experience and suitability for the post and finalize the merit on the same day.
