Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) is hiring Teaching Associates and Part-time Teachers at its College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad for the 2026-2027 academic year. There are 12 posts in all (7 Teaching Associates and 5 Part-time Teachers) across six departments. If you have a Master's degree (M.Sc) in the relevant subject, you can attend the walk-in interview on 6 and 7 July 2026. The College of Community Science, PJTAU, Saifabad has invited candidates for Teaching Associate (TA) and Part-time Teacher (PT) posts to teach B.Sc Community Science and M.Sc Home Science courses. All posts are purely temporary and on a contract basis for the academic year. Selection is through a walk-in interview with no written exam, and candidates with a Ph.D or NET get preference.

Who Can Apply?

For Teaching Associate and Part-time Teacher posts

• Qualification: A Master's degree (M.Sc) in the subject concerned, such as M.Sc Home Science, M.Sc Agricultural Economics, or M.Sc Agricultural Statistics.
• Desirable: A Ph.D or NET in the subject concerned.
• Essential skills: Teaching experience, knowledge of computers, and the ability to handle online classes.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D or NET.

Salary

• Teaching Associate (with Ph.D): Rs. 54,000 per month (consolidated)
• Teaching Associate (without Ph.D): Rs. 49,000 per month (consolidated)
• Part-time Teacher: Rs. 1,000 per hour, up to a maximum of Rs. 35,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend on your department's interview date (6 or 7 July 2026) with two copies of your bio-data.
2. Document Verification: Show your original degree certificates, mark sheets, and Aadhaar at the interview.

Preference goes to candidates with a Ph.D or NET. The selection committee may fill or reject the posts without giving any reason.
