PHE Baghmara ISA Coordinator Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering (PHE) RWS Division, Baghmara, South Garo Hills, Meghalaya, has invited applications for the contractual position of ISA Coordinator. This role is part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), a flagship programme of the Government of India aimed at providing safe and adequate drinking water to every rural household through functional household tap connections. The ISA Coordinator will be based at the PHE Division office in Baghmara and will work on community engagement and IEC activities. Only Meghalaya domicile candidates are eligible to apply for this position.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Social Science, Mass Communication, or Rural Management from a recognised university.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) sector or in knowledge management in Government-sponsored programmes is preferred.
• Domicile: You must be a domicile of Meghalaya.

Age Limit

• Age limit is as per State Government of Meghalaya rules.
• For most state government posts in Meghalaya, the general age limit is 18 to 32 years, with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Salary

• You will get a fixed pay of Rs. 20,000 per month.
• This is a contractual appointment valid up to 31 March 2027.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

Selection will be through a single-stage walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: You need to appear in person at the interview venue on the scheduled date. The interview panel will assess your qualifications, experience, and suitability for the ISA Coordinator role.
2. Result Announcement: Names of qualified and selected candidates will be posted on the office Notice Board on 13 April 2026.

No written exam will be conducted for this post.

• Work with Village Water and Sanitation Committees (VWSCs) to ensure community participation
• Support the Executive Engineer and district team in knowledge management and communication tasks
• Monitor field activities and submit progress reports to the division office
