Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has announced recruitment for 4 posts of Enumerator/Field Investigator and Enumerator/Field Investigator cum Mapper under a research project in the Department of Hematology. These are contractual positions and the salary will be decided based on your qualifications and experience. There is no written exam — selection will be through shortlisting and interview. For Enumerator/Field Investigator (3 Posts):
- Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Social Science, Public Health, Nutrition, Dietetics or other related fields from a recognised university.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a health-based setting.
- Language: You should be fluent in Punjabi, Hindi or English.
- Skills: Knowledge of MS Office is required.
For Enumerator/Field Investigator cum Mapper (1 Post):
- Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or any other relevant field from a recognised university.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in community settings or community-based research projects.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge of geotagging software and mapping tools is required.
- General Skills: Knowledge of MS Office is required.

- The salary for these positions will be commensurate with your qualification and experience.
- Since these are project-based roles at PGIMER, you can expect a competitive monthly remuneration in line with research project norms.

- Assist in community-based research activities under the Department of Hematology
- Record and maintain accurate field data using digital tools and MS Office
- Coordinate with the research team for scheduling and follow-up visits
- Prepare field reports and submit findings to the principal investigator
- Handle geotagging and mapping of survey locations (for Mapper post)
