NTPC Limited has released Advt. No. 08/26 for experienced professionals on a fixed-term basis. The notice covers 4 separate posts: Senior Executive (Material & Supply Chain Management), Senior Executive (Green Chemical), Executive (Regulatory Affairs-Nuclear), and Executive (Engineering-Nuclear). This is a high-salary experienced-professional recruitment with posting possible at NTPC offices, stations, projects, joint ventures, or subsidiaries anywhere in India. The engagement is initially for 1 year and may be extended by 2 more years based on NTPC's requirement and your performance.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Executive - Material & Supply Chain Management

• Qualification: You need a Degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
• Preferred: MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Experience: You need 22 years post-qualification executive experience, including 15 years in Material Management or Supply Chain Management.
• Sector experience: Out of the 22 years, at least 10 years should be in the Power or Energy sector.
• Preference: Candidates with global exposure will get preference.

Senior Executive - Green Chemical

• Qualification: You need a Degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need 22 years post-qualification executive experience.
• Relevant work: At least 15 years should be in design and development, project planning, or execution of ammonia, methanol, other green chemical projects, or related areas.

Executive - Regulatory Affairs Nuclear

• Qualification: You need a Degree in Engineering from a recognised university.
• Preferred: MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Experience: You need 15 years post-qualification executive experience in nuclear power projects.
• Relevant work: At least 10 years should be in regulatory bodies, regulatory documents, AERB coordination, replies to regulatory queries, and nuclear project clearances.

Executive - Engineering Nuclear

• Qualification: You need a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.
• Preferred: MBA qualification will be an added advantage.
• Experience: You need 15 years post-qualification executive experience in civil engineering of nuclear power projects.
• Relevant work: At least 10 years should be in civil engineering of nuclear island work.

Age Limit

• Posts A and B: Upper age limit is 58 years as per the official addendum.
• Posts C and D: Upper age limit is 52 years as per the official addendum.
• Reference date: Age, experience, and qualification will be counted with respect to the last date of online application, 26 June 2026.

Salary

• Posts A and B: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,90,000.
• Posts C and D: Consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 1,50,000.
• Other benefits: Company accommodation or HRA, retention benefit, and medical facility for self, spouse, dependent parents, and two children are mentioned in the notice.

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC: Rs. 500
• SC / ST / PwBD / XSM / Female candidates: No fee

Selection Process

NTPC may use a multi-stage selection process depending on the number of applications and business requirement.

1. Application Shortlisting or Screening: NTPC may shortlist candidates based on qualification, percentage of marks, years of post-qualification experience, and other eligibility standards.
2. Written or Computer-Based Test: NTPC may conduct a written or CBT stage if it needs to restrict the number of candidates.
3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be called for interview.
4. Document Verification and Medical Examination: Selected candidates must produce documents and clear the NTPC medical examination before joining.
