National Skill Training Institute (NSTI) Extension Centre, Leh, functioning under the Directorate General of Training (DGT) in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, is inviting applications for a Guest Faculty position to teach the Solar Technician (Electrical) trade under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS). The institute runs from the Government Polytechnic Campus at Choglamsar, Leh-Ladakh, under the Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for J&K and Ladakh. The role is purely temporary and creates no claim to a permanent government job. Working professionals, National Craft Instructor Certificate holders, and trained technicians in the electrical trade are encouraged to apply.

As a Guest Faculty member, you will handle both the theory classes and the hands-on practical training for trainees enrolled in this trade, working alongside the institute's regular teaching staff at the Choglamsar campus. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: The Guest Faculty position is purely temporary; you cannot claim a permanent job on the strength of this engagement.
• Contract period: The initial engagement is for three months, extendable further as per the institute's requirement.
• Payment basis: You are paid on an hourly basis for the classes you teach, so your actual monthly earnings depend on how many hours you teach.
• Selection process: Only shortlisted candidates are called for the Theory and Practical exam, and no TA/DA is paid for attending it.
• Final authority: The selection committee's decision on eligibility, shortlisting, and the overall selection process is final and binding on all candidates.
