National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur) Project Associate-II Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released advertisement number NITRR/EED/2026/4520 dated 12 May 2026 for one Project Associate-II position in the Electrical Engineering Department. The project is titled "Wide Area Measurement-Based Cyber Resilient Protection and Control Framework to Enhance Power Grid Resilience for Converter-Interfaced Variable Renewable Energy System to Mitigate MTDC Dynamics" and is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ARG-ANRF). The eligible candidates will be interviewed on 21 May 2026 in hybrid mode at the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Raipur.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an M.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power System, Energy System, or a relevant specialization with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Experience: You need 2 years of experience in R&D, industry, or academic institutes.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens can apply.

Salary

• You will get a salary of Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA as per NIT Raipur institute norms.
• The position is purely temporary and the appointment is co-terminus with the project, governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency and NIT Raipur norms.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Application Screening: Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted from the applications received by email.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email and called for the interview. The interview will be held on 21 May 2026 in hybrid mode at the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Raipur.

No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview or for joining if selected.
