Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Option 1: You must have B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, AI, Data Science, Applied Geology, Civil, Mining or an equivalent field.
• Marks requirement: You need at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in M.E./M.Tech/MCA.
• Option 2: You can also apply with B.E./B.Tech from an Institute of National Importance with at least 80% marks or 8.5 CGPA out of 10.

Preferred Skills

• GATE/NET: GATE/NET, including Lectureship, is desirable.
• Research fit: Selection through national-level examinations conducted by central government departments, agencies or institutions such as ICMR, IIT, IISc, DST and DBT is desirable.
• Technical skills: Sound knowledge of AI, Deep Learning, Python/R or other programming tools will help you match the project work.

Salary

• Fellowship: Rs. 37,000 per month
• HRA: 20% HRA is payable as mentioned in the notice
• Duration: The post is for 18 months; it starts for 6 months and may be extended for the next 1 year based on performance and fund availability.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in interview, so there is no written exam mentioned in the notice. You should still prepare your project basics, programming skills and research experience because the interview is for a DST-sponsored technical research project.
