Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar (NITJ) has released Advertisement No. NITJTBI/CEO/2026/02 dated 22 July 2026 for the post of Chief Executive Officer at its Technology Business Incubator (NITJ TBI). The appointment is purely contractual, initially for one year and extendable annually based on your performance. Your salary can be reviewed and revised after six months based on performance, and you also get an incentive equal to 20% of your salary once you secure additional external funding for the incubator.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: First Class MBA/PGDM, preferably with a degree in Science and Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing incubation centres or running entrepreneurship development related activities.
• Desirable Skills: Strong communication and networking skills.
• Shortlisting Preference: Given to candidates with prior experience handling incubatees, and managing/organizing programs, proposals and reports.

Age Limit

• You should preferably not be more than 40 years old.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
• You will also get an incentive equal to 20% of your salary, payable once you secure additional funding from external agencies.
• Your salary may be reviewed and revised after six months based on your performance.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection will be based on:

1. Application Screening: Your application and documents will be screened by NITJ TBI.
2. Shortlisting: NITJ TBI reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for interview.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or presentation.

• Prepare proposals, reports and utilization certificates for funding agencies
