National Health Mission, Uttarakhand (NHM Uttarakhand) is recruiting a Senior Consultant in Procurement and Contract Management through the Uttarakhand Health and Family Welfare Society. This full-time contractual position supports the state health programme from the mission's office in Dehradun. You will be part of the state-level structure that helps health programmes get the goods, services and works they need.

The role reports to the Assistant Director, Director or Mission Director and links procurement decisions with programme needs across Uttarakhand. Its focus is a more transparent and reliable procurement system, with attention to public resources and the rules that govern their use.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial contract: the engagement runs until 31 March 2027. It is a contractual appointment, with no automatic continuation beyond that term.
• Renewal: any extension depends on continuation of NHM, Government of India approval and your performance appraisal. The notice makes these conditions part of the engagement.
• Transfer: the post is non-transferable. You should consider that condition when deciding whether the appointment fits your circumstances.
• Recruitment changes: the competent authority may cancel the post or change the number of openings. An application does not settle the outcome of the recruitment.
• Travel expenses: NHM will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to meet the cost of attending.
