National Health Mission - Tamil Nadu (NHM TN) has published the Terms of Reference for Consultant posts in the State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC). SHSRC supports the Department of Health and Family Welfare with policy analysis, programme support, research, monitoring, evaluation, innovation, and evidence-based planning. The work location is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and deployment will be decided according to SHSRC requirements.

The appointment is initially for 11 months and can be extended based on performance and programme needs. This is a contract role, not a permanent state government appointment. The Consultants will work with Advisors and programme teams to strengthen health systems and generate useful analytical outputs for Tamil Nadu.

What this role produces: SHSRC expects Consultants to prepare analytical reports, programme reviews, technical documentation, policy inputs, data-driven insights, knowledge products, research outputs, and policy briefs. The role also includes field visits whenever SHSRC needs programme reviews, assessments, or official field support.
