Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in interview only. You need to report at the Office of Mission Director, NHM, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, GMSH-16, Chandigarh between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the interview day. Registration closes strictly at 10:30 AM, so make sure you reach early. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care and treatment to patients at assigned health facilities
  • Handle emergency cases and provide first-aid treatment as needed
  • Maintain patient records, reports, and medical documentation
  • Work under National Health Programmes such as NHM, NTEP, or PM-ABHIM as assigned
  • Participate in community health activities and outreach programmes
  • Follow prescribed medical protocols and government health guidelines

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

MBBS Degree from recognized university with one year compulsory rotatory internship, registered with State Medical Council or MCI, plus six months house job or post-qualification work experience

Preferred Qualification

MD Pulmonary Medicine/Internal Medicine/TB & Chest Disease/Community Medicine/MPH for NTEP post; CCC+ Computer Course (120 hours) for EMO and GDMO posts; Experience in Casualty Department for EMO post; NTEP experience and Nikshay knowledge for NTEP post

Required Skills

Basic computer knowledge preferred, Nikshay software knowledge for NTEP post

Age Limit

18 - 60 years

Minimum six months of house job in any department or six months of post-qualification work experience is mandatory for all posts
