Who Can Apply?

You must be an Indian citizen. Men, women, and third gender candidates can apply. Age Limit

Physical Standards

Male Candidates

• Height: General and BC male candidates need 165 cm; EBC, SC, and ST male candidates need 160 cm.

Female Candidates

• Height: All female candidates need minimum 155 cm.
• Weight: All female candidates need minimum 48 kg.

Selection Process

1. Application scrutiny: BPSSC checks submitted online forms before calling candidates for the exam.
2. Written exam: You get an OMR objective paper of 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours. You need at least 30% marks to qualify for the physical test.
3. Physical efficiency test: Candidates up to about 5 times the vacancies can be called category-wise. PET carries 100 marks.
4. Final merit: Merit is prepared from PET marks in running, shot put, and high jump.
5. Medical and verification: Selected candidates will face medical check, character check, and background verification before appointment.
