Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Regular full-time minimum 2-year Diploma or Polytechnic in Agriculture or any sub-field/sub-discipline of Agriculture (excluding Diploma in Horticulture and its sub-discipline) from a Government recognised institute/college.
• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates).
• Final Year Students: Only those whose final-year results have been declared as on cut-off date can apply.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years as on cut-off date 30/04/2026
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC (NCL): 3 years, PwBD (UR): 10 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• J&K Domicile (01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989): 5 years
• Apprenticeship training period at NFL units: equivalent age relaxation
• Maximum age after all relaxations: 56 years

Salary

• Pay Scale (W-2, 2017 IDA): Rs. 21,500 – Rs. 52,000 per month

Selection Process (No Interview)

Selection is purely on the basis of OMR-based test marks. There is no interview for this Group C Non-Executive post.

1. Offline OMR Based Examination: 150 questions of 1 mark each in 2 hours. 100 questions from your discipline/Agriculture course curriculum and 50 questions on General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & General Knowledge. No negative marking. You need a minimum 50% (75/150) marks to be empanelled Unit-Category wise.
2. Skill (Trade) Test (qualifying): NFL may conduct a skill test at any Unit/Plant. This will be qualifying in nature.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates Unit-Category wise will be called for verification.
4. Medical Fitness Examination: From Civil Surgeon / NFL Hospital before joining.

• Manage the NFL Dealers Sales Center (NDSC) assigned to you in the Marketing Division
• Handle field marketing, sales promotion and dealer coordination for NFL fertilizer products
• Maintain stock records, dispatch documents and sales reports for the assigned territory
• Conduct farmer meetings and field demonstrations on proper fertilizer use
• Monitor competitor activities and report market intelligence to senior officers
• Work in rotating shifts at the plant or NDSC center when required
• Follow NFL's safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures at all times
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and submit to the Unit Marketing Head
