MyGov is the citizen engagement platform of the Government of India and works as an Independent Business Division under Digital India Corporation, a Section 8 company under MeitY. This recruitment is for an experienced designer who can create social media creatives, branding material, reports, infographics, web layouts, and campaign visuals for public communication. AI-assisted design skills are specifically valued in this role, including tools such as Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT, and similar software.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Qualification: You need a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• Preferred Design Background: MFA, BFA, or certificate courses in Graphic Designing, Multimedia, Video Creation, or Editing will be an added advantage.

Experience and Skills

• Experience: You need 3-5 years of work experience in graphic design or related creative work.
• Design Tools: You should know Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and other design tools used for campaigns.
• Portfolio Areas: Experience in social media design, branding, print and publication design, web or microsite design, infographics, and visual campaigns is useful.
• AI Design Skills: Knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Sora, Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Midjourney, DALL-E, or Figma AI will help your application.

Salary and Contract Terms

• The notification does not mention a fixed salary for the Graphic Designer post.
• The first 3 months will be treated as probation from the date of joining.
• After successful completion of the initial contract period, MyGov may offer a regular contract.
• Probation can be reduced or increased based on your performance, and regular contract absorption is not automatic.
