National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is hiring supervisors and maintainers on contract with regular pay scales for work connected with its Namo Bharat project. Post-wise Duties

Information Technology Supervisors

You will join the IT stream identified by your post code, which distinguishes general IT, full-stack development and the specified ITMS functions. NCRTC assigns work according to its business requirements, so these separate labels matter when you choose your post.

Corporate Services Supervisors

You will work in either corporate hospitality or corporate communications, depending on the post you join. These are separate functional streams within the same contract recruitment notice.

Engineering Supervisors and Junior Maintainers

You will join the electrical or civil supervisory stream, or the electrical or fitter maintenance trade. The notice provides for on-the-job training before deployment, with its duration set and adjusted by NCRTC.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract tenure: The appointment runs for five years from the date you join. It does not give you a right to regularisation.
• Performance condition: Unsatisfactory performance can lead to termination during the contract, with one month’s notice or pay instead of notice.
• Service bond: Supervisors must sign a Rs. 4,00,000 surety bond and Junior Maintainers a Rs. 3,00,000 bond. The minimum service commitment is three years for both groups.
• Resignation or termination: The notice specifies one month’s prior notice from either side.
• Posting and shifts: Your assignment can be at any NCRTC office, workplace or project unit, including subsidiaries and joint ventures. You may also need to work shifts.
• Medical costs: NCRTC pays for the initial medical examination. A further examination needed because of delayed joining or an extension is at your expense.
• Reservation: Category benefits depend on the notified post and applicable conditions. Creamy-layer OBC applicants must apply as unreserved, and PwBD suitability differs between the post codes.
• Multiple applications: Applying for different posts is allowed, but tests for those posts may overlap. You should account for that possibility when choosing your applications.
• Appointment checks: Recruitment remains provisional until the relevant checks are complete. False or suppressed particulars can lead to cancellation or removal from service, including after appointment.

• Support information technology systems in the assigned IT stream.
• Develop and maintain applications in the designated full-stack development role.
• Coordinate hospitality arrangements in the corporate hospitality role.
• Prepare communication material for the corporate communications team.
• Inspect electrical or civil assets within the assigned engineering stream.
• Handle maintenance tasks in the electrician or fitter trade.
• Record work completed and report faults to the relevant team.
• Follow workplace safety procedures during shift and maintenance assignments.
