Maharashtra State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (MSC Bank), Mumbai has released Advertisement No. 03/MSC Bank/2026-27 for trainee recruitment through IBPS. The posts are for the Bank's Head Office, regional offices and branches across Maharashtra. Who Can Apply?
Trainee Junior Officer
- Qualification: You need a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
- Marathi: You should have passed Matriculation with Marathi as one subject.
- Experience: You need minimum 2 years banking experience, preferably in an Urban Bank or DCC Bank as an officer.
- Preference: Law degree, JAIIB, CAIIB, MSCIT or experience in Treasury or International Banking will be preferred.
Trainee Associate
- Qualification: You need graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks.
- Marathi: Matriculation with Marathi as one subject is required.
- Computer: You should have proficiency in computer applications.
- Preference: Marathi and English typing certificate holders and candidates with Co-operative Intern experience will get preference.
Trainee Typist
- Qualification: You need a graduation degree and Marathi as one subject in Matriculation.
- Typing: Government Commercial Certificate of 30 w.p.m. Marathi typing and 40 w.p.m. English typing is mandatory.
- Computer: Word processing and spreadsheet knowledge is required.
- Preference: Marathi or English stenography course and DTP Operator experience will be preferred.
Trainee Driver
- Qualification: You need to pass SSC/Matriculation with Marathi as one subject.
- Licence: A valid LMV driving licence is required.
- Domicile: Maharashtra domicile certificate is mandatory for all posts.
Age Limit
- Trainee Junior Officer: 23 to 35 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Trainee Associate: 21 to 32 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Trainee Typist: 21 to 28 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Trainee Driver: 18 to 30 years as on 01 June 2026.
- Driver age relaxation: Child of an MSC Bank employee can get 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit for Trainee Driver.
Salary
- Trainee Junior Officer: Rs. 30,000 stipend during 12 months training; about Rs. 52,100 per month after successful training.
- Trainee Associate: Rs. 25,000 stipend during training; about Rs. 34,400 per month after successful training.
- Trainee Typist: Rs. 25,000 stipend during training; about Rs. 34,400 per month after training, plus Rs. 650 typist allowance after confirmation.
- Trainee Driver: Rs. 22,000 stipend during training; about Rs. 27,700 per month after successful training.
- Training is for 12 months, followed by 6 months probation before confirmation, based on performance and records.

- Trainee Junior Officer: Rs. 1,770 including GST for all categories.
- Trainee Associate: Rs. 1,180 including GST for all categories.
- Trainee Typist: Rs. 1,180 including GST for all categories.
- Trainee Driver: Rs. 1,180 including GST for all categories.
- Payment mode: Online only between 11 June 2026 and 01 July 2026. Fees are non-refundable.
Selection Process
The selection process has online examination by IBPS followed by post-wise next stages conducted by MSC Bank.
- Online Written Exam: Junior Officer, Associate and Typist exams have 160 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes. Driver exam has 120 questions for 120 marks in 90 minutes.
- Interview or Skill Test: Junior Officer and Associate posts include personal interview. Typist post includes typing skill test after Phase-I. Driver post includes personal interview and driving test.
- Document Verification: Education, domicile, experience, licence and other documents will be checked.
- Medical, Police and Background Verification: Final offer is subject to these checks and document validation.
Negative marking applies in the online tests. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for the relevant exam stage, but MSC Bank can change the cut-off.
