MPMRCL is hiring 2 General Manager / Additional General Manager (Civil) officers for its Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail projects in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) General Manager/Additional General Manager (Civil) Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, has released a notification (Advt No. 4573/HRD/MPMRCL-077/2026) for 2 posts of General Manager and Additional General Manager in the Civil domain. MPMRCL is currently implementing the Bhopal Metro Rail Project and the Indore Metro Rail Project, and these senior positions will lead civil construction work covering stations, viaducts, bridges, and underground tunnels. Candidates with underground tunnel and station construction experience using TBM/NATM/Cut & Cover methods get preference. You can apply on Deputation, Contract, or Re-employment basis.

Who Can Apply?

For General Manager (Civil) - E-8 Grade:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized university or institute.
• Experience: You need at least 21 years of post-qualification experience, including 7 years in Metro, Railways, RRTS, or High Speed Railway infrastructure projects.
• Present Pay: You should currently be in IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 or CDA Level-14 (7th CPC) or above, or working for 2 years in IDA Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000, or drawing a consolidated pay of at least Rs. 1,40,000 per month at GM/E-8 level.

For Additional General Manager (Civil) - E-7 Grade:

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized university or institute.
• Experience: You need at least 18 years of post-qualification experience, including 7 years in Metro, Railways, RRTS, or High Speed Railway infrastructure projects.
• Present Pay: You should currently be in IDA pay scale of Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 or CDA Level-13A/13 (7th CPC) or above, or working for 2 years in IDA Rs. 90,000-2,40,000, or drawing a consolidated pay of at least Rs. 1,15,000 per month at AGM/E-7 level.

Candidates with experience in underground transport tunnels, underground stations, and cross passages built using TBM/NATM/Cut & Cover methods will get preference for both posts.

Age Limit

• Deputation: Maximum 58 years (if your parent organization's retirement age is 60) or maximum 60 years (if it is 62), reckoned as on the cutoff date.
• Contract: Maximum 57 years.
• Re-employment: Minimum 55 years, maximum 63 years.
• Age and experience are counted as on the closing date, 24 August 2026.

Salary

• General Manager (E-8): Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 2,80,000 per month (IDA scale) on contract; deputation candidates get parent pay plus deputation allowances or MPMRCL pay as per rules; re-employed retirees from Level-14 get a consolidated Rs. 1,65,900 per month plus allowances.
• Additional General Manager (E-7): Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 2,60,000 per month (IDA scale) on contract; deputation candidates get parent pay plus deputation allowances or MPMRCL pay as per rules; re-employed retirees from Level-13A get Rs. 1,42,300 per month and from Level-13 get Rs. 1,27,400 per month, plus allowances.

Selection Process

MPMRCL will select candidates through the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Priority is given to candidates with relevant Metro experience and seniority in the desired pay scale.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates appear for an interview in online or offline mode with all original documents and certificates.
3. Written Test (if required): MPMRCL may conduct a written test for the posts if needed.
4. Medical Examination: Selected candidates undergo a medical examination as per MPMRCL standards.
