MoEFCC Principal Private Secretary Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) is filling the Principal Private Secretary post at its Regional Office in Dehradun. The circular offers a deputation appointment and also explains how a departmental promotion case would be treated. Your parent office must be able to release you for the assignment.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The deputation starts with a three-year term. The circular also states that the period, including immediately preceding deputation in another ex-cadre post, should ordinarily stay within four years.
• Release from your present office: Your department should forward your application only if it can spare you for the specified period. The notice seeks officers who can be relieved immediately after selection.
• Commitment after joining: You must serve the organization for the deputation period. The circular says you will not be relieved before that period ends.
