Who Can Apply?
For Registrar, Controller of Examinations and Additional Controller of Examinations
- Qualification: You need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- Teaching route: You need 15 years of service as Assistant Professor in Academic Level 11 and above, or 8 years of service in Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor, with educational administration experience.
- Alternative route: You can apply with comparable experience in a research establishment or higher education institution.
- Administrative route: You can apply with 15 years of administrative experience, including 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
For Director (CDOE) and Dean (College Development Council)
- Qualification: You need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Academic route: You need a Ph.D., high-quality published work, at least 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a research score of 120.
- Experience: You need at least 10 years of teaching or research experience at university, college, or national-level institutions, with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates.
- Professional route: Outstanding professionals with a Ph.D. and 10 years of relevant experience can also apply if their contribution is supported by documents.
Desirable Experience
- Registrar: Ph.D. and experience in personnel administration, legal, financial, and establishment matters.
- Controller / Additional Controller: Ph.D. and experience in conducting examinations and related university or college matters.
- Director (CDOE): Experience in distance education administration and online, web-based, or mobile technology in education.
- Dean: Experience in college administration.
Age Limit
- Registrar: The appointee shall not continue after attaining 60 years.
- Controller of Examinations: The appointee shall not continue after attaining 60 years.

Salary
- All five posts carry Academic Level 14 in the Pay Matrix.
- Pay range: Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200.
- Service conditions and allowances will follow University, UGC, and Government of Tamil Nadu rules as amended from time to time.
