MbPA Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA), under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, is recruiting regular staff through direct recruitment for its Class I and Class II posts. The notice brings together engineering, materials, accounts, traffic, estate and security posts at the port. You can consider more than one discipline, but each application is treated separately.

Posts and Disciplines

• Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): A civil engineering post in the Class I group, separate from the Executive Engineer appointment in the same discipline.
• Executive Engineer (Civil): The other civil engineering role covered by this recruitment.
• Deputy Materials Manager: A Class I post in the materials stream.
• Executive Engineer (Telecom/Electronics): The technical appointment in the telecom and electronics stream.
• Accounts Officer Grade I: The accounts stream within this Class I recruitment.
• Assistant Traffic Manager Grade I: The traffic stream, advertised separately from the engineering and accounts posts.
• Assistant Estate Manager Grade I: The estate stream within the same recruitment exercise.
• Assistant Security Officer: The Class II appointment in this notice. Its recruitment conditions differ from those for Class I posts.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Separate applications: If you apply for different posts, each needs its own completed application and payment. A registration for one discipline does not automatically cover another.
• Duplicate registrations: For the same discipline, MbPA will retain only your latest valid completed application. Payments linked to the other registrations are forfeited, so avoid creating repeated applications for the same post.
• Reservation: The advertised distribution is provisional. MbPA may change or interchange the discipline-wise allocation during recruitment, and government reservation guidelines will apply when results are finalised.
• Disability suitability: Suitability differs between posts. You can claim consideration under the benchmark-disability provision only for a post identified for your disability category; the security post is not identified as suitable for any disability.
• Application details: Your recorded details become final after registration is completed. MbPA will not accept later requests to change the post or category under which you applied.
• Recruitment participation: Admission to the recruitment process is provisional. Applying or being shortlisted does not create a right to appointment, and incorrect information can lead to cancellation even after appointment.
• Travel and venue changes: You attend the examination at your own expense and risk. MbPA may add, cancel or change centres when needed; individual requests to change the allotted venue or session will not be accepted.
• Updates: Keep your registered email address and mobile number active. You are responsible for downloading your call letters and following recruitment updates on the authorised MbPA website.
