District Malkangiri, Government of Odisha, through the District Education Office, Malkangiri, is forming a Guest Teacher arrangement for the 2026-27 school session. The engagement operates under Odisha's Teacher on Call Scheme and is meant for retired Secondary Teachers who previously served in government, fully aided or new aided schools. It gives district schools temporary classroom support while regular teaching posts remain unfilled.

This is a school-based teaching assignment, not a permanent appointment. Guest Teachers may be placed in government or aided high schools across Malkangiri district according to need and the school preferences given in the application. The notice puts particular attention on teaching senior secondary-school classes, with greater classroom focus on students preparing for their final high-school year.

The arrangement also expects you to take part in the normal academic work connected with your subject.
