Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Chomu, Jaipur-I (managed by Pragati Trust-Jaipur, a central government scheme run by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi) has released employment advertisement KVK/2026/01 for 1 Driver post (Unreserved). Candidates who had already applied against this post advertised earlier on 10 September 2025 are exempted from the Rs. 500 fee. The application has to be sent by post along with a demand draft and required documents.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• Educational: Minimum Matriculation (10th class) pass from a recognised board
• Licence: Possession of a valid and appropriate driving licence from the prescribed government authority
• Skill Test: The candidate will have to pass the practical skill test conducted by an appropriate committee of the institute / headquarters

Desirable Qualification

• One year trade certificate (ITI) in the relevant field, OR
• Experience of driving (Car, Jeep, Tractor) in a recognised institution, OR
• Experience of motor mechanic work

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years
• Age Relaxation: As per ICAR rules (typically 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD)
• Age reference date: The closing date for receipt of applications, which is 3 June 2026

Salary

• Pay Level-3 with pay scale of Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100 per month as per 7th Central Pay Commission
• The pay scale carries allowances provided as grant-in-aid by ICAR (DA, HRA and other allowances as per ICAR norms)

Selection Process

• Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report mechanical issues to the supervisor

• Keep proper records of log book, fuel consumption and trip details
• Follow all traffic rules and safety guidelines while on duty
• Assist in loading and unloading of training material, equipment and supplies
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the KVK administration
