KV Sadalaga TGT Science and Computer Instructor Recruitment 2026: Overview

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sadalaga, a school run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) in Karnataka, is holding a walk-in interview to engage teachers for the 2026-27 session. The school, set up in 2021, needs a Science TGT, a Vocational Teacher with an electronics background and a Computer Instructor. These are part-time, contractual, day-to-day engagements, not regular KVS jobs, so they suit teachers who want a session-long assignment near Sadalaga.

The school gives preference to CTET-qualified candidates, but it may still look at candidates without CTET when no qualified applicant turns up for a post.

Posts and Disciplines

• TGT (Science): the science teacher for the middle classes; this post is meant for science graduates who studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry through all three years of their degree and hold a B.Ed.
• Vocational Teacher: a trade-focused teaching post for Electronics and Communication Engineering graduates who have already worked in the trade.
• Computer Instructor: runs computer classes and the lab; open to a wide range of computer science, IT, PGDCA and DOEACC backgrounds.

All three posts expect you to teach comfortably in both Hindi and English medium, and computer knowledge is a plus for every post.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• No regular claim: contract teachers have no right to a regular appointment and do not become part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya teaching cadre.
• No vacation pay: you are not paid for vacations, and pay during the Autumn and Winter breaks is worked out on a pro rata basis.
• Absence: a day you miss on a working day is unpaid, calculated pro rata.
• Working hours: the same as regular teachers at the school.
• Travel costs: no TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
• CTET relaxation: if no CTET-qualified candidate is available, the school may consider you without CTET as long as you meet the other KVS recruitment rules.
