The Office of the Special Officer and Competent Authority (IMA and Other Company Fraud Cases), under the Karnataka Revenue Department, has released notification No. SPLOCA/ADM/30/2024-25 dated 23 March 2026 for filling 3 contract positions in Bengaluru. These are contract posts, renewable year on year based on satisfactory performance, with periodic salary enhancements as per government norms. The positions are meant to support investigations into IMA and other company fraud cases being handled by the Special Officer.

Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply?

For IT Personnel / Forensic Data Scientist (Rs. 50,000/month):

• Basic Qualification: BE in Computer Science / Information Science with a certificate in Cyber Forensics and Cyber Law (CCCFL)
• Preferred: BE CSE/IS with PG Diploma in Cyber Forensics and Cyber Law
• Experience: Minimum 1 year working as a Data Scientist or Cyber Forensic Expert
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in a CA firm or forensic audit firm

For Shirastedar / Deputy Tahsildar (Rs. 55,000/month):

• Qualification: Must be a retired officer from the Revenue Department
• Age: Should not be above 65 years of age

For Legal Typist (Rs. 22,000 - 24,000/month):

• Qualification: LLB degree, registered at the Bar Council of Karnataka
• Typing Speed: 40 WPM in both English and Kannada
• Language: Must be able to communicate fluently in both Kannada and English

Age Limit

• Deputy Tahsildar: Maximum 65 years (must be retired from Revenue Department)
• IT Personnel / Legal Typist: As per Karnataka Revenue Department norms

Salary

• IT Personnel / Forensic Data Scientist: Rs. 50,000 per month (actual salary depends on qualification and experience)
• Shirastedar / Deputy Tahsildar: Rs. 55,000 per month (actual salary depends on qualification and experience)
• Legal Typist: Rs. 22,000 to 24,000 per month including OT charges and sitting fees as per government norms (outsource basis)
• Note: These are contractual positions with periodic salary enhancement based on performance.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on evaluation of your resume, qualifications, and experience:
