Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released notification for 355 Polytechnic Lecturer posts in Government Polytechnic and Government Women's Polytechnic colleges across Jharkhand. This includes 349 regular posts and 6 backlog posts across 16 disciplines. There is no written exam — selection is based on merit and interview. Freshers with B.E./B.Tech or Master's degree can apply.

Who Can Apply

For Engineering Disciplines (Level 9A - Rs. 56,100/month):

• B.E. / B.Tech / B.S. with First Class in the relevant discipline

For Engineering (Level 10 - Rs. 57,700/month):

• Bachelor's AND Master's degree with First Class in either

For Science and Humanities (Level 10 - Rs. 57,700/month):

• Master's Degree with First Class + NET/SLET/SET qualification

Age Limit

• No minimum age
• Maximum age: 65 years (as on 01-08-2025)

Salary

• Level 9A: Rs. 56,100 per month (entry pay)
• Level 10: Rs. 57,700 per month (entry pay)
• Plus DA, HRA and other allowances as per Jharkhand State Government rules

Application Fee

• General / EWS / BC-I / BC-II: Rs. 600
• SC / ST (Jharkhand domicile): Rs. 150
• PwD (40% disability): No fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on:

1. Academic Merit (80 marks): Graduation marks (15), PG marks (20), M.Phil (7), Ph.D (15), NET/JRF/GATE (15), Publications (8), Teaching Experience (4 max), Awards (3 max)
2. Document Verification: 5x candidates per post called
3. Interview (20 marks): 3x candidates per post called

Final merit = Academic marks + Interview marks (total 100)
