Who Can Apply?

The qualification depends on the post and group you apply for. Here is a quick guide:

Group A Posts (Level 10-11):

• Executive Engineer (Civil / Electrical): BE/B.Tech in the relevant branch with 55% marks and long experience as an Assistant or Assistant Executive Engineer.
• Assistant Librarian: Master's degree in Library/Information Science with 55% marks plus NET/SLET/SET (or a Ph.D. as per UGC rules).
• Assistant Registrar / Research Officer / System Analyst / Curator / Public Relation Officer: A Master's degree with 55% marks in the relevant field.

Group B Posts (Level 6-7):

• Private Secretary / Personal Assistant: Bachelor's degree with shorthand speed of 100-120 wpm and typing speed of 35/30 wpm.
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Assistant / Computer Operator: Master's or Bachelor's degree in the relevant field.

Group C Posts (Level 1-5):

• Stenographer: Bachelor's degree with stenography speed of 80 wpm and typing 35/30 wpm.
• Assistant / Junior Assistant: Bachelor's degree with English typing 35 wpm or Hindi typing 30 wpm.
• Cook: Class 10 pass with an ITI certificate in Bakery and Confectionery and 3 years' experience.
• Works Assistant / Lift Operator: ITI Diploma (2 years) in the relevant trade.
• Multi Tasking Staff, Mess Helper, Attendants: Class 10 pass from a recognized board.

Age Limit

• The maximum age is 40 years for most posts, and 45 years for Executive Engineer posts, as on 27 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC (NCL) get 3 years, and PwD candidates get 10 years of relaxation.
• Extra Relaxation: PwD + OBC (NCL) get 13 years and PwD + SC/ST get 15 years. Ex-servicemen and eligible government employees get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Salaries follow the 7th Central Pay Commission, ranging from Rs. 18,000 per month (Level 1) to Rs. 2,08,700 per month (Level 11).
• Group C posts fall under Level 1-5, Group B under Level 6-7, and Group A under Level 10-11.
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances as per University rules.

Application Fee

• Group A posts - General/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,500; SC/ST/Women: Rs. 1,000; PwD: No fee
• Group B and C posts - General/EWS/OBC: Rs. 1,000; SC/ST/Women: Rs. 600; PwD: No fee
• If you apply for more than one post, you must pay the fee separately for each post.

Selection Process

The selection has up to three stages, depending on the post:

1. Written Test (Paper-I and Paper-II): An objective (MCQ) test. Paper-I has 150 questions for 300 marks in 2 hours, covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Language, and Computer Awareness.
2. Skill Test: A typing test, stenography test, or trade/practical test for the relevant posts.
3. Interview / Personality Test: For posts where an interview is prescribed.
