IIT Kharagpur Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) is hiring a Junior Research Fellow for a Mechanical Engineering project coordinated by Mahendra Reddy Vanteru. The project focuses on designing and developing a novel hybrid combustor using ammonia, hydrogen and air, with operation at pressures up to 6 bar. This is a temporary research engagement for the combustor project, so you should read the notice in the context of that specific engineering research area.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Postgraduate degree in Basic Science, or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a professional course, with selection through CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship), GATE, or a national-level examination conducted by a central government department, agency or institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER or NISER.
