IIT Goa is engaging 12 Graduate Apprentices for one year under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Indian Institute of Technology Goa (IIT Goa), an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has issued Notice No. IITGOA/RECT/2026/APPREN./02 dated 15 June 2026. The notice covers Graduate Apprentices in Engineering Stream and General Stream for apprenticeship training of one year. Fresh graduates from the 2023 to 2026 passing window, preferably from the Goa region, should check the stream-wise eligibility before attending the interview.

This apprenticeship is a training opportunity, not a permanent job. The contract ends automatically after the one-year training period, and IIT Goa has clearly stated that apprentices cannot claim employment in the institute based on this training. Who Can Apply?

Graduate Apprentice - Engineering Stream

• Qualification: You need a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering from a recognised university.
• Passing Window: Your qualifying degree should be passed between 30 June 2023 and 29 June 2026.

Graduate Apprentice - General Stream

• Qualification: You need a bachelor's degree in Arts, Commerce, Science, Business Administration, Computer Applications, Management Science or Business Studies from a recognised university.
• Passing Window: Your qualifying degree should be passed between 30 June 2023 and 29 June 2026.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Nationality: You must be an Indian national.
• Preference: Candidates from the Goa region are preferred.
• Final Year Candidates: Candidates who appeared for final year or semester exams in 2026 can attend, but they must produce the passing certificate on the date of engagement if selected.
• Apprenticeship Restriction: Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Minimum age is 18 years.

Salary
