The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has released Advertisement No. NF (04)/Part-Time/2026 dated 10 July 2026 for engaging 1 Yoga Instructor on a part-time basis. IISER Mohali was set up by the Government of India in 2007 to carry out research in frontier areas of Science and provide quality Science Education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This is a contractual engagement for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 5 years on a yearly basis, if required. There is no written exam — selection is entirely through a walk-in interview, which makes this a quick opportunity for qualified yoga trainers who want to work at a national-importance institute.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a graduate degree along with a Diploma or Certificate in Yoga Training/Yoga Science from a recognized University, Institution, or Centre.
• Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience imparting yogic practices in CFTIs, Higher Education Institutions, IITs, NITs, or Central Universities.
• Desirable: Practical ability to perform yogic practices is preferred, though not mandatory.
• You must fully satisfy yourself about your eligibility before filling the application form — queries about eligibility criteria will not be entertained once you attend the interview.

Salary

• You will be paid Rs. 1,200 per session of 2 hours, for 5 days a week, but your total pay will not exceed Rs. 25,000 per month.
• You will not be eligible for any other allowance or incentive, and no TA/DA is payable for attending the interview or joining the Institute.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a walk-in interview only:

2. Document Verification: Bring all original certificates for verification, plus one self-attested copy to submit if you are selected.

Only candidates who report on time for the interview will be considered — late arrivals will not be allowed to take part in the process.

Terms of Engagement

• Your service can be ended at any time by either you or the Institute, with 15 days' written notice (or payment in lieu of notice).
• You will not be entitled to any benefit, compensation, absorption, or regularization of service at IISER Mohali, since this is a temporary, part-time engagement.
