International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) is hiring a Junior Research Scientist for its GENDER Project in Mumbai. The project uses nationally representative datasets to build evidence on gender and health outcomes, so this role combines advanced quantitative work with research communication. You will work closely with the principal investigator and the project team on manuscripts, policy briefs, research dissemination and capacity-building activities. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract status: This is a full-time project appointment and does not create a claim to a regular IIPS position.
• Initial tenure: The first appointment may run for eleven months. An extension depends on satisfactory work, completion of assigned duties and continued project funding.
• Project link: The engagement ends when either the appointment period or the GENDER Project finishes, whichever comes first.
• Work base: You will be based at IIPS in Mumbai and report to the faculty coordinators of the GENDER Project.
• Joining: The person recommended by the selection committee must be ready to join at short notice.
• Travel support: IIPS will not pay TA or DA for attending the walk-in interview.
