Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has released a notification to recruit a Senior Research Assistant on contractual basis at the Lucknow campus. The position is in the Decision Science Area and is well suited for candidates planning to pursue a PhD and looking for serious research exposure. The role mixes teaching support with hands-on research work using R, Python, Excel and LaTeX.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: You must have a Postgraduate degree (regular mode) with specialisation in Statistics from a reputed university or institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Desirable Qualifications: Graduation (regular mode) in Statistics from a reputed university or institute is preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of software like R, Python, Excel and LaTeX is preferred.
• Language: You need good written English skills.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant full-time experience. Candidates with research experience or published research papers using statistical methods will get preference.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 50,000 per month.
• HRA will be paid extra as per applicable norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Application Screening: All applications will be checked and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview may be conducted online or at the IIM Lucknow Lucknow Campus. Selection will be based on qualifications, experience and interview performance.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Prepare research reports, presentations and academic content as needed
• Work closely with the faculty supervisor on ongoing research projects
