IIM Lucknow Research Associate Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) has released an advertisement for one research support post to assist Prof. Nishant Uppal in the Human Resource Management (HRM) area. The designation and fellowship will depend on your qualification level — Ph.D holders are engaged at higher associate levels while PG/MBA holders are placed at the Senior Research Assistant level. There is no written exam — selection is through interview at the IIM Lucknow campus. The position is contractual for a pre-fixed period and the requirement is immediate.

Designation Options and Fellowship

• Senior Research / Academic Associate: Rs. 70,000 + HRA per month — Ph.D + 3 years research experience + PG with 60% + 1 research paper
• Research / Academic Associate 'A': Rs. 65,000 + HRA per month — Ph.D + 2 years research experience + PG with 60% + 1 research paper
• Research / Academic Associate 'B': Rs. 60,000 + HRA per month — Ph.D + PG with 60% + 1 research paper
• Senior Research / Academic Assistant: Rs. 50,000 + HRA per month — PG / MBA from a reputed institute with 60% marks

Who Can Apply?

For Senior Research Associate (Rs. 70,000 + HRA):

• Ph.D in a relevant field with at least 3 years of research experience
• Post Graduate from a reputed institute or university in regular mode with minimum 60% marks
• At least one research paper in any category of a journal

For Research Associate 'A' (Rs. 65,000 + HRA):

• Ph.D in a relevant field with at least 2 years of research experience
• Post Graduate from a reputed institute or university in regular mode with minimum 60% marks
• At least one research paper in any category of a journal

For Research Associate 'B' (Rs. 60,000 + HRA):

• Ph.D in a relevant field
• Post Graduate from a reputed institute or university in regular mode with minimum 60% marks
• At least one research paper in any category of a journal

For Senior Research Assistant (Rs. 50,000 + HRA):

• Post Graduate or MBA from a reputed institute or university in regular mode with minimum 60% marks

Salary

• Senior Research Associate: Rs. 70,000 + HRA per month
• Research Associate 'A': Rs. 65,000 + HRA per month
• Research Associate 'B': Rs. 60,000 + HRA per month
• Senior Research Assistant: Rs. 50,000 + HRA per month
• HRA is paid as per IIM Lucknow norms on emoluments.
