Who Can Apply?

IT & MIS / IS Audit / Risk Management - IS

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS/ECE/EEE/Electronics/Software Engineering, or BCA/B.Sc (CS/IT), OR MCA/M.Sc (IT/CS)/M.Tech in relevant stream from a UGC/AICTE recognised university.
• Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, DISA, GIAC.
• Experience (IS Audit & Risk Mgmt - IS, Grade C): Minimum 7 years as officer in BFSI/IT/FinTech, with 4 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security.
• Experience (Risk Mgmt - IS, Grade B): Minimum 4 years with 2 years in Information/Cyber Security.
• Experience (IT & MIS, Grade D): Minimum 10 years at middle management level with 7 years in related area.
• Experience (IT & MIS, Grade C): Minimum 7 years with 4 years relevant.
• Experience (IT & MIS, Grade B): Minimum 4 years with 2 years relevant.

Security Officer (Grade O)

• Qualification: Class XII / Diploma pass from a recognised institution. Basic computer proficiency certificate desirable.
• Experience: Retired Junior Commissioned Officer from Indian Army, Navy or Air Force with minimum 15 years of regular service. Character must be certified as Exemplary in the discharge book.

Cut-off date for age, qualification and experience: 1 March 2026.

Age Limit (as on 1 March 2026)

• Deputy General Manager (Grade D): 35 to 45 years
• Assistant General Manager (Grade C): 28 to 40 years
• Manager (Grade B): 25 to 35 years
• Junior Assistant Manager - Security (Grade O): Maximum 50 years (inclusive of all relaxations)
• Age relaxation (for IS Audit, IT & MIS, Risk Mgmt posts): SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwBD 10 years, Ex-servicemen 5 years.

Salary

• Deputy General Manager (Grade D): Pay scale Rs 1,02,300 - 1,20,940. Gross emoluments approx Rs 1,97,000/month in metro cities.
• Assistant General Manager (Grade C): Pay scale Rs 85,920 - 1,05,280. Gross approx Rs 1,64,000/month.
• Manager (Grade B): Pay scale Rs 64,820 - 93,960. Gross approx Rs 1,24,000/month.
• Junior Assistant Manager (Grade O): CTC Rs 6.14 - 6.50 lakh per annum at joining (Class A city).
• Additional benefits: DA, HRA, other allowances, Performance Linked Variable Pay, and coverage under IDBI Bank New Pension Scheme (IBLNPS) 2011.

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Screening: Based on eligibility criteria (age, qualification, experience) declared in the online application.
2. Shortlisting: Bank shortlists candidates based on qualification, experience and overall suitability for the notified grade.
3. Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview (PI): You will be called to GD/PI based on shortlisting.
4. Document Verification (DV): All original documents will be verified.
5. Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT): Final offer is subject to medical fitness as per IDBI Bank standards.

Note: There is no written exam for this recruitment - selection is based on shortlisting, GD/PI and medical fitness.

• Handle information system audits, cyber security audits and IS assurance activities across the bank.
• Manage enterprise information security, risk assessments and incident response for banking IT infrastructure.
• Work on Finacle Core, data analytics, AI/ML, cloud management, digital lending and trade finance solutions.
• Monitor IT infrastructure, networks, vendor deliverables and MIS reporting for internal and regulatory stakeholders.
• Assist in implementation of IT security policies, RBI guidelines and cyber resilience frameworks.
• Prepare audit reports, risk registers and security dashboards for senior management review.
• Follow RBI, CERT-In and internal compliance guidelines across all IT and information security operations.
• Provide physical security, access control and VIP protection at bank premises (for Security Officer role).
