ACAB Assistant Recruitment 2026 — 150 Posts

The Assam Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd., a Scheduled Bank under the RBI Act 1949, headquartered at Panbazar, Guwahati, has invited online applications for recruitment of Assistants. Established in 1948, ACAB has a network of 67 branches and 6 zonal offices across Assam. The bank is hiring 150 Assistants to strengthen its staff and expand business operations across the state.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 45% marks
• Good knowledge of computer applications — a computer proficiency certificate is mandatory

Other Requirements

• You must be an Indian National
• You must be well conversant with the local language (Assamese)
• If you are currently employed, you will need to produce a valid discharge certificate from your present employer before joining

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years
• Age is calculated as on 01 January 2026

Salary

• Pay Scale: Rs. 18,730 to Rs. 68,040
• Grade Pay: Rs. 4,400
• Initial Monthly Pay: Rs. 18,730 (basic) + Rs. 4,400 (grade pay) = Rs. 23,130 plus other allowances

Selection Process

The selection will be done through a two-stage process:

1. Written Examination: An objective-type written test to assess your knowledge and aptitude
