Who Can Apply?

For Consultant (Legal)

• Qualification: You need a graduate degree with a Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution or university.
• Registration: You must be registered as an Advocate with a State Bar Council.
• Retired service background: You should have retired from a Central, State, or UT government department, attached or subordinate office, autonomous body, statutory body, or PSU after serving in Pay Level 10 or above.
• Experience: You need at least 10 years of experience handling court cases related to service matters, legal drafting, recruitment, tender matters, and replies before courts or tribunals.

For Consultant (Admin)

• Service background: You should be a retired officer from Central or State Government, attached or subordinate offices, Government of India autonomous bodies, or PSUs.
• Previous level: ICSSR mentions retired officers who served as Section Officer, Under Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, or Additional Secretary.
• Experience: You need administrative experience in establishment, administration, government rules, and office procedures.

For Consultant (Engineer)

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognised university or reputed institute.
• Retired service background: You should have retired from a government department, attached or subordinate office, autonomous body, statutory body, or PSU after serving in Pay Level 10 or above.
• Experience: ICSSR asks for retired persons not below the rank of Assistant Executive Engineer with 15 to 20 years of proven experience in CPWD, NPCC, HUDCO, NBCC, PWD, or similar government organisations.

Age Limit

• You must be a retired person below 62 years.
• For Consultant (Admin) and Consultant (Engineer), ICSSR mentions the age limit as on the closing date of application.

Salary

• ICSSR will fix the monthly pay by deducting basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement.
• For retired PSU employees, the consolidated pay will be calculated as per the applicable Department of Telecommunications OM dated 29 March 2022.
• For retired Central Government or autonomous body employees, the pay will be calculated as per the applicable Government of India OMs dated 9 December 2020 and 18 October 2023.
• The fixed amount will remain unchanged during the contract. ICSSR states that no increment, DA, HRA, or other additional allowance will be paid.
