ICMR-NIRBID YP-II Scientific Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

ICMR-National Institute for Research on Blood and Immune Disorders (ICMR-NIRBID), Mumbai has issued vacancy notice A-11012/18/2025-Admn. dated 01 June 2026 for the post of Young Professional-II (Scientific). The role is contractual for an initial period of one year and can be extended one year at a time, up to a maximum of three years, based on requirement and performance.

This is a scientific support role focused on manuscript writing, interdisciplinary research coordination, ethical and regulatory documentation, molecular diagnostics protocols, and annual report preparation. It is best suited for candidates who have worked in Life Sciences, AYUSH, scientific writing, laboratory research, or molecular diagnostics.

The engagement is temporary and contractual, so it does not create a regular job claim in ICMR-NIRBID or any other ICMR institute. Educational Qualification and Experience

• Life Sciences route: You can apply with a Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences with at least 55% marks.
• AYUSH route: You can apply with BAMS, BSMS, or MD in AYUSH with at least 55% marks.
• Experience: You need 3 years of post-qualification experience in a related field.
• Not eligible: Candidates already in regular service under Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Department, or PSU are not eligible to apply.

Desirable Experience

• Scientific writing: Experience in scientific manuscript writing is desirable.
• Research coordination: Experience working with scientists, research fellows, clinicians, or laboratory teams can help in this role.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Age reference date: Age and experience will be considered as on the last date for online application submission.

Salary

• Consolidated salary: Rs. 42,000 per month.
• The salary is released based on satisfactory performance and attendance certification.
• Official tour support is available as per the notice, including TA/DA entitlements for domestic official travel.
• Applicable taxes will be deducted as per government rules.
