Who Can Apply?
Medical Qualification
- Anaesthesia and Pain fellowships: You need MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, and Pain & Palliative Care also accepts Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation where relevant.
- Radiology fellowships: You need MD/DNB in Radiology or Radiodiagnosis from an MCI/NMC recognised institution.
- Surgical fellowships: You need the notified MS/DNB or M.Ch/DNB qualification in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, or the relevant specialty.
- Paediatrics, Pathology, Psychiatry, and Transfusion Medicine fellowships: You need MD/DNB in the relevant subject listed in the notification.
- Experience condition: Many fellowship areas require 2 years of post-PG teaching experience. Check your programme row carefully before applying.
DNB Equivalence and Sponsored Candidates
- DNB equivalence: DNB qualification must satisfy the MCI/NMC equivalence conditions mentioned in the notice.
