Who Can Apply?

Common Requirement

• CET route: You must be qualified in Common Eligibility Test (CET) Advt. No. 01/2025 Group-C.
• Language: You must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject in Matric or Higher Education.
• Reservation: Haryana reserved-category benefits apply only to bonafide residents of Haryana with valid certificates.

Assistant Superintendent Jail

• Qualification: You need graduation from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Posts: This qualification applies to Assistant Superintendent Jail (Male) and Assistant Superintendent Jail (Female).

Prison Warder

• Qualification: You need 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised education board or institution.

Age Limit

• Assistant Superintendent Jail: Age should be 21 to 27 years.
• Prison Warder: Age should be 18 to 25 years.

Salary

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates

• Height: 170 cm for General category and 168 cm for reserved category.

• Running: 2.5 km in 12 minutes for male candidates.
• Ex-servicemen running: 1.0 km in 5 minutes.

For Female Candidates

• Height: 158 cm for General category and 156 cm for reserved category.
• Chest: Not applicable.
• Running: 1.0 km in 6 minutes.

Physical note: The notice says candidates who qualify the Physical Measurement Test will be put through the Physical Screening Test, which is qualifying in nature. HSSC may use RFID or other reliable technology during the running test.

Selection Process

HSSC selection will follow the Haryana CET Phase-II Group-C process and HSSC rules. The written examination details are published in the notification.
